Beginning Tuesday, June 9, the SR 37/661 bridge over SR 16 will close to southbound traffic and will be detoured to the adjacent interchange, west of the project, via Weaver Drive to SR 16/Columbus Road/Cherry Street to Granview Road to Silver Street. SR 16EB/WB traffic wishing to travel to the SR 37/661 interchange will exit SR 16 at the adjacent interchange to the west. The bridge will be open to northbound traffic only. Motorists can also expect the following ramp closures during the 2020 construction season. All dates are estimated at this time.
June 9, 2020:
- Entrance to SR 16 WB from SR 661 will close for approximately 2 months
- Exit to SR 661 from SR 16 WB will close for approximately 3 months
- Exit ramp from SR 16 EB to SR 661 will close for approximately 3.5 months

This project is designed to reconstruct the bridge carrying SR 37/SR 661 over SR 16 in Granville. The project will also include turn lane additions along the SR 37/SR 661 entrance and exit ramps. The intersection of SR 661 and River Road/Weaver Drive will be improved to include turn lanes along SR 37/SR 661 and along westbound River Road. The intersection will be signalized.
