The Refugee-Canyon Fire District Board of Trustees will meet at 7:00 PM on Thursday, May 14, 2020, at the Refugee-Canyon Fire Station, 111 Basin Street, Hebron, OH.

Pursuant to the order made by the Ohio Department of Health on March 12, 2020 forbidding mass gatherings and advising social distancing, this meeting will be made available to the public via Refugee-Canyon Joint Fire District Facebook page.

  4. Public comment: This portion is an opportunity for citizens to express comments to the presiding officer of the board. Before commenting, members of the public are asked to stand and give their name and address. A copy of the Public Participation Policy is available.

      1. Full-time, employment contingent upon successful Ohio Police and Fire Pension physical examination (these exams have been scheduled).  Effective dates of hire will all be 01 June 2020, and they are scheduled to start as listed:

        2. Ethan Jolliff FF-EMT-P; 02 June 2020 on one unit
        3. Cristian Santiago FF-EMT-P; 03 June 2020 on two unit

    2. Resolution 05-2020: During the 05 March 2020 meeting, the board approved $15,000 for the temporary structure at Station 2; however, the total cost to CVS Supply is $15,441.
