Each year K-2 children from Hebron walk to the fire station. They are shown a fire safety video and then they get a tour of the fire station; look at the fire engine and medic vehicles.  This year we had a safety house (smoke trailer) where each child was able to go in and learned to crawl under smoke,  crawl out of a window, call 911; all the basic things that we teach them year-round about fire safety. It is a  great experience for them!! We also hold a coloring contest and one child from each class (K, 1,2) will be selected to receive a free ride to school on the fire truck!
